The other morning I saw something that made me think of you. This reminded me. I wish I had got a picture of it now. It was a dead possum. In a plastic shopping bag. Someone had discarded it on the footpath. It was lying there, half under a hedge with only it's tail and back legs sticking splayed out from the mouth of the bag. I called the council that day and they came and removed it. Damn it! I KNEW I should have taken a picture!
simon, i LOVE that the dead possum in the plastic bag made you think of me. agreed, death in all its tortured & displaced manifestations is fascinating. did i ever share with you the KFC prank story?
Lots of strange things remind me of you my dear. Was just rather strange you had a similar moment at the same time with a dead mouse. Odd synchronicity. Remember the days when you could email me any time of the night and I would wake up to answer. Only for your emails. I never did understand how that worked.
PS. we need to continue our holography discussion. email is almost back on track [still mid-move & awaiting ADSL reconnection] so mebbe try me there. after next wknd i'm down to six day weeks so ostensibly will have a slither more time then.
Actually Keith, the owner of Galbraiths, was telling me about the ghost that is supposed to haunt there. I was trying to figure out a way of using a green laser pointer to project the ghostly image of a face onto one of the window panes from outside the pub that would be visible to people going past as a face looking out. That's kind of like holograms I guess.
